New Adventures in Joshy Land

This is part of a journey I started about a year ago. I wanted to step out of my shell and do something that scared me. One of my first shows was a thing call 4th Ave. I didnt make back what I put into it; but the experience was worth it. With this show I decided to downsize and actually sell things that I loved and wasn't part of a normal "Oh, I've seen this".     In this photo I took a panorama split it into three and put them in floating frames. I enjoyed coming up with this idea on a spur of the moment reaction. The experience can be very nerve wrecking; standing there wondering if people are going to actually stop and talk to you and buy your vision. Then out of nowhere people stop and start buying things. My anxiety skyrockets. But after the day has ended and my heart goes back to normal, you feel accomplished by just being there. Going out into an unknown place and trying to show people your world.   So go out in the world an...

 Wanting to see the moon early I got up for work; groggy I took my camera outside and hooked it up to my telescope.       But sadly I had to leave and actually go to work.  But I still wanted to see the moon. so I brought my camera with a 18- 135mm lens There was a random book in the rode...  Maybe the next red moon I'll have my tripod and telescope. or a more powerful lens. not saying I'm sad. I still got something. that makes me happy.  A once in a lifetime experience.   Thank you for enjoying The New Adventures of Joshy. 

These are a little older by a few months, but I enjoy events like this.   I bought the Squirtle costume because I always wanted one, but I love talking to people and making them smile. Its nice to see people light up when they see their childhood alive and in person.     In addition to all of that, it actually helps with my depression. It forces me to go out and do things that I never would have done in the past. I met so many amazing people; they amaze me with the dedication that they put into comic cons and such. I met two awesome Squirtle ladies too. Not sure if I can post them here, so I wont... But they are awesome. I cant wait for the next time I get to do this. Next I will make shades for this guy.... He is the cool Squirtle. More adventures to come. Thank you.   Also My favorite Doctor :D

On my journeys I get to see amazing things. My eyes looking out into the world. What beauty will show itself? Sunsets that set the mind on fire as the car barrels down the road. The sun passes behind clouds; different hues of colors expresses magnificently. Sometimes the occasional blue heron flies by. On the search for water it gracefully breaks the blue sky.

A new adventure let me to the hospital... I'd like to say it was something amazing that had happened, but I was sadly at work when it occurred. I bent over with my knees and heard and felt a pop in the lower right of my back, and my right leg gave out. It was interesting. lol. Hurt like hell but I managed to make it to my manager on duty. So far I sprained or strained my back... Luckily it wasn't a slipped disk. My body is still slightly side-wards; I felt like a zombie when I walked anywhere. I may need a chiropractor. More on that later.  Going into 2018 a broken man... Or going into 2018 a new man. onto the next Journey.

Trip 1: San Diego    A new adventure starts with a new way of thinking. My peaceful thoughts are always the ocean; the waves crashing around me. Finding the serenity that my brain needs.      Day 1: Local treats Mitch's Seafood in Point Loma.           For me they have the most amazing fish tacos for a low price.       Day 2: Oceanside haven't really explored but I love the pier.
